New Confident You

A motivational evening designed to enhance your feelings of self-confidence, empowerment & assertiveness.

Most of us, if we are honest, would like to feel more self-confident at least in some situations. For some people, lack of self-confidence is situation specific, like meeting new people, speaking in public or attending a job interview. For others, it is all encompassing.

Following the success of the Ignite 2010 workshop in January, and in response to many requests, I've designed this evening workshop focussing specifically on the topics of confidence, assertiveness and empowerment.

What is Confidence?

As this workshop is all about confidence, it is useful to know what exactly confidence is.

We all have to have a sense of what confidence is, because if we didn’t, how would we know we are lacking it? As far as lack of confidence goes, we were not born lacking confidence; lack of confidence is something we learn. During this three-hour workshop you will ‘unlearn’ lack of confidence.

The origin of the word ‘confidence’ is the Latin word ‘confidere' meaning to trust, to have faith in. Many people hold the mistaken belief that confidence is some kind of personality gift (some people have it, others don’t.) However, confidence is really the natural bi-product of consistent behaviour, based on positive beliefs, demonstrated over a period of time. In other words, with the right mindset and behavioural strategies everyone can feel self-confident. You will discover this mindset and the behavioural strategies that are the foundation of self-confidence during this workshop.

Discover 10 proven strategies for boosting self-confidence

For the first time I’ve put together all my confidence, assertiveness and empowerment strategies and I’m sharing them only with a select number of people from my existing client and contact database.

As a participant, my goal for this workshop is to support, challenge and assist you to enhance your feelings of self belief and self confidence.

More Benefits

In addition to discovering 10 practical ways of enhancing your self-confidence, as a result of attending this workshop you will –

  • Learn how to manage that voice in our heads that tells us we are not good enough!
  • Know the body language of confidence
  • Unlearn lack of confidence
  • Have the opportunity to interact and network with other like-minded people (feedback from the Ignite 2010 workshop in January showed that this was an aspect of the event that participants really enjoyed.)
  • Discover the relationship between self-esteem, self-belief and self-confidence

It’s a workshop – so you’ll be working!

This evening workshop is an interactive event, peppered with individual and group exercises. It is not for everyone. But if you are serious about taking your confidence levels up a notch or two, then this workshop will give you the tools and frameworks that will set you on the path to success.

If you are tired of doubting yourself, responding passively (saying nothing when you know you should speak up) and seeing opportunities pass you by because of your lack of confidence, then this evening workshop is for you.

Just for a moment think about how life would be different if you felt more self-confident, believed in yourself more, were more assertive?
