The Right Note
‘Not only were the coaching sessions beneficial, they were also fun.’
David Creevy writes...
"I sought out coaching to enhance my self confidence. Very quickly, I began to develop a deeper belief in my own abilities and I had a heightened desire to achieve my ambitions. As a result of coaching my goals were clearer and seemed more real to me. With James’ support, we explored my strengths, weaknesses and the limiting beliefs that were holding me back from achieving what I wanted and realising my potential. I went on to develop strategies that turned these apparent weaknesses and limitations into triggers for me to believe in myself even more, which was and remains a very powerful skill to have.’
‘Another great benefit of coaching for me was establishing and writing down my goals which focused my mind on achievable targets. This helped to silence my racing mind as I was prone to unnecessary worrying. This began the unfolding of effective strategies which empowered me to work step by step towards the achievement of my goals. In short, the energy I wasted on worrying is now spent on doing.’
‘Not only were the coaching sessions and the techniques that James used to enhance my confidence beneficial, they were also fun.’
For those of you contemplating coaching the best advice I can give you is;
• Have a very clear idea as to what you want out of the sessions.
• Know the aspects about yourself that you want to improve upon.
• During the sessions be sincerely honest with yourself.
• Don’t be afraid to explore any negative aspects that surface.
• Make a commitment to be pro-active in between sessions.
• Keep an open mind and an open heart.
‘My coaching relationship with James has moved to a new level, as he now assists me in ensuring I’m in a peak performance state before going on stage.’
