Breaking Down Walls
On November 9th Germany celebrates the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The Berlin Wall symbolised the iron curtain and the era of the Cold War. People credit Ronald Reagan and Mikhael Gorbachev for their roles in bringing this era to an end. Maybe the wall came down because a closed, secretive, restrictive political system just runs contrary to human nature.
From a personal and business development perspective, there are lessons to be learned from the fall of the Berlin Wall. Lessons that are equally relevant today as they were 20 years ago.

The fourth Thursday in November is Thanksgiving in America (this year Nov. 26th) I’ve always thought it’s a pity that we don’t celebrate this holiday in this part of the world.
A holiday to give thanks is a great reminder to be grateful for everything we have in our lives.
Developing the habit of giving thanks is beneficial on many levels.
